This Privacy Policy explains how Replay Trader (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, join the waitlist, or use early-access features. By using Replay Trader, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

Replay Trader is an educational simulated trading-practice product. It is not a broker, exchange, investment adviser, or portfolio manager. Contact for privacy questions: legal@replaytrader.local.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Replay Trader, we may collect:

• Waitlist details — email address, optional first name, and the plan you say you are interested in (including if you are not willing to spend yet).
• Attribution data — referrer, landing page URL, and UTM parameters when present (for example campaign source or medium).
• Account and usage data — if you sign in to early-access product features, identifiers from our authentication provider, preference settings (such as plan entitlements used for practice limits), and product usage needed to operate sessions.
• Technical data — approximate device/browser information, IP address, and diagnostic logs needed for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.

We do not ask for brokerage credentials, bank passwords, or payment-card details on the waitlist.

3. How we use information

• To add you to the waitlist and send early-access or launch updates.
• To understand plan interest and improve pricing and product decisions.
• To operate, secure, and debug the website and application.
• To respond to support or legal requests when required.
• To analyse aggregate traffic and conversion (for example page views) when analytics are enabled.
• To measure and improve advertising (for example Meta/Facebook Pixel page views and waitlist lead events) when ads tracking is enabled.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where required by law, we process personal data based on consent (waitlist signup), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, fraud prevention), and/or performance of a contract when you use authenticated product features.

5. Sharing

We may share information with:

• Service providers that host infrastructure, email delivery, authentication, analytics, or advertising measurement (including Meta) — only as needed to run Replay Trader.
• Authorities when legally required, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to this policy or equivalent protections.

6. Retention

Waitlist records are kept until you ask to be removed, or until we close the waitlist and no longer need the data for launch communications and related product planning. Account and log data are retained only as long as needed for operation, security, and legal obligations.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please use a strong unique password if you create an account.

8. Your choices

• You may request access, correction, or deletion of waitlist or account data by emailing us.
• You may unsubscribe from waitlist emails using the link in a message, when provided, or by contacting us.
• Browser controls can limit cookies where we use them for analytics or preferences.

9. Children

Replay Trader is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we take steps intended to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy, except where consent is required.
